The Security Verification Code is here to make sure you are a living human and not an automated program trying to login. It is also to prevent fraudulant use of membership sharing and will make sure only 1 person is using your membership. If your membership information is used by multiple IP addresses or you attempt to login more than 5 times with the wrong password the system will block access to ensure your account is not compromised.
